Im Mittelpunkt steht ein ausgemustertes Klavier. Es wird im Laufe des Tages äußerlich komplett renoviert. Vier halbstündige komponierte Performances unterbrechen diesen Prozess – und auch sie sind einer „Re-Interpretation“ der Arbeitsverhältnisse unterworfen: Der Komponist selbst agiert am präparierten und mikrofonierten Klavier und liefert so die klangliche Grundlage für elektroakustische, durch Controller ferngesteuerte Manipulationen der Pianistin. So wird der Komponist zum unter der Kontrolle der Interpretin stehenden Arbeiter. Das klangliche Setup setzt sich mit Abstufungen von Nähe und Distanz auseinander, wofür sowohl der Außen- als auch der Klavierinnenraum durch Lautsprecher bespielt und in verschiedenen Stufen für das Publikum hörbar gemacht.

The focus is on a discarded piano. It will be completely renovated in the course of the day. Four half-hour composed performances interrupt this process – and they are also subject to a "re-interpretation" of the working conditions: The composer himself acts on the prepared and microphoned piano, thus providing the sound basis for the pianist's electroacoustic manipulations remotely controlled. Thus the composer becomes a worker under the control of the interpreter. The sound setup deals with gradations of proximity and distance, for which both the exterior and the piano interior are played by loudspeakers and made audible to the audience in various stages.
